Sometimes you will see the most extraordinary text in our subtitles. Like the name of a subtitler or subtitling company. These are AI hallucinations. It is a phenomenon wherein a large language model (LLM), often a generative AI chatbot, perceives patterns or objects that are nonexistent or imperceptible to human observers, creating outputs that are nonsensical or altogether inaccurate.
