Post-editing (proofreading)
Edit your SRT
Subtitling.net management
Last Update a month ago
Post-editing subtitles isn't always required, but if you need to adjust the subtitle text, you can easily do so by opening the SRT file in any word processor or text editor. Just be sure to save the file in the same format. That is UTF8. File extension must be srt. Example: corporate.srt and not corporate.txt.srt
Then upload this post-edited SRT on our website in 'My Videos' and we will generate a new hardcoded video (1080p) for you. This is free of extra charge. (How to watch the original video with the SRT)
You can edit the time codes as well. If you add (don't forget the time code) or delete subtitles,there's no need to adjust the subtitle numbers. Any number will do. Make sure there are no overlapping times and see to it that the formatting is correct:
00:00:02,320 --> 00:00:06,640
Look at the size of that trunk.
You could put three bodies in there.
(Always a blank line!)

00:00:07,460 --> 00:00:10,599Just kidding.Just trying to levitate the situation.

00:00:11,700 --> 00:00:15,959Okay, thank you. We appreciate it.
-Sure, sure. Hey, what kind of car do you drive anyway?
-----------------------
Make sure there is at least 120 milliseconds between every subtitle.
Milliseconds go from 000 to 999.
Once again, no other layout / formatting is allowed.
